Many sufferers embark on this pilgrimage in search of a miracle. At the starting point of kindness, hope liquefies. In the Holy Land, faith is fluid and flows strongly in search of answers.
La Hospitalidad de Jesús de Natharet and its volunteers accompany the pilgrims on this trek.
Hospitalidad de Jesús de Nazaret
"Come to Christ with Mary through their land, to procure healing of the soul and the body. To do this, promote pilgrimages to the Holy Land".
So state the articles of association of this private Christian association founded in 2008. Hospitalarios are called. For me they are loving machines who decide to cover their heads with a scarf, wrap themselves in Israel and give out 4,000 volt bolts of hope with resuscitation paddles to all they meet.
The Hospitalidad becomes the perfect platform to cover those who cannot do so themselves. They ensure that all people, whatever their disability, age or condition, can kiss - if they so wish - the crib of the birth in Bethlehem which is reached after jostling your way among the throng, up some steep stairs and through a very narrow tunnel. It gives these people the opportunity to do the Via Crucis, station by station, giving them access to every nook and cranny of the labyrinth, however hidden, difficult or small it may be.
Using nearby hospitals, comfortable access for all, covering the need for food, transport and suitable accommodation… Customising logistics so that, whatever the disability, you feel at home although you are 3,600 kilometres away. There’s even WiFi in the coach.
